Kassahun completed master of public health in Health Informatics at University of Gondar, Ethiopia. His research interests lie in the area of mHealth, eHealth, Health information system and public health. Currently, he is a PhD candidate in Public Health Informatics at University of Gondar. His PhD focuses on assessing the acceptability and the effectiveness of mobile phone based reminder and virtual education to improve patient compliance towards TB treatment.

  1. Data use in immunization program to improve data quality and ensure accountability, implementation science study
  2. Capacity building and mentorship program (CBMP) in Amhara and Benshangul-Gumuz regions.
